Who we are

mecorad was founded in September 2018 with the vision of becoming an innovation leader in IoT / Industry 4.0. After several years of working in the industry, each of us felt there is the need to take digitalization of the heavy industries to a new level. We started in 2016 in the program EXIST Forschungstransfer to build something on our own that delivers this promise. Spinning-off from TH Köln and Fraunhofer Institute for Machine Tools and Forming Technology we are supported by EIT Raw Materials.
